Reasons To Buy

Easy to hold. Impossible to put down.

There’s so much more to love about the new iPad mini. It’s more portable and powerful than ever. It’s the lightest iPad yet — 14 percent thinner than the previous model. A stunning new OLED display delivers incredible visuals on a larger-than-ever 8.5-inch canvas. It’s perfect for travel, beautiful, and resistant to dust, splashes, and spills, too.

Thinner, lighter design. Ultraportable and durable design, perfect for packs and purses. iPad mini is 14 percent thinner and 13 percent lighter than the previous model.

8.5″ OLED display. Now with a Super Retina XDR display for brilliant brights and deeper blacks. Optional nano-texture glass reduces glare indoors and out.

Water and dust resistance. Resists splashes, spills, and whatever else the day throws at it.

Camera system. The 12MP Center Stage front camera is now on the landscape edge, perfect for selfies and video calls. The 12MP Wide back camera delivers stunning photos and 4K video. The Adaptive True Tone flash improves low-light photography and document scanning.

Apple Pencil. iPad mini works with Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB‑C). Design an illustration, sketch a still life, animate unique characters, and more.

Color and precision by the pixel.

OLED comes to iPad mini. The new Super Retina XDR display delivers deep, vivid colors and incredibly high contrast for your viewing pleasure. With 1200 nits peak brightness and 1 nit minimum brightness, content is easy on the eyes in any light. Colors are incredibly vivid and accurate, with support for P3 wide color and True Tone technology that automatically adapts white balance to match ambient lighting. And an optional nano-texture glass finish helps reduce glare even in challenging lighting conditions.

A simply stunning display. With 24 percent thinner bezels than the previous iPad mini, the Super Retina XDR display is a more expansive 8.5-inch canvas, making room for all your shows, photos, books, and notes.

Brilliant color, true blacks, and remarkable contrast. OLED technology comes to life on iPad mini — delivering pixel-level lighting control, rich and accurate colors, and deeper dynamic range.

Optional nano-texture glass. Nano-texture display glass scatters ambient light instead of bouncing it back, so you get less glare without losing contrast or color accuracy. Whether you’re working outside, traveling, or creating on the go, what’s on the screen stays clear and readable.

Seriously powerful. Ridiculously fun.

A20 Pro is the most powerful and power-efficient chip built for iPad mini yet. With packaging inspired by our M-series chips, it delivers a huge leap in CPU and GPU performance. New Neural Accelerators in each GPU core, an enhanced Apple Neural Engine, and increased memory bandwidth speed up Apple Intelligence and all your AI tasks. Work, game, and stream with all-day battery life, and fast‑charge the battery up to 50 percent in around 30 minutes.

The powerful CPU delivers up to 60 percent faster performance than the previous model. The GPU is up to 2.7x faster, enabling Dynamic Caching, hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing for incredible graphics. And with double the memory bandwidth, everything you do feels even more responsive.

Neural Accelerators in the GPU speed up AI tasks by up to 4.5x for large language model (LLM) token generation. A faster and up to Dual 16-core Neural Engine on the 512GB model delivers twice the peak compute power for on-device AI.

Meet Siri AI. More personal. More powerful.

Siri AI is available in English. Usage limits may apply.

Siri AI is your helpful AI assistant, powered by Apple Intelligence. Siri understands your context, works across your apps, and keeps everything secure with on-device processing and Private Cloud Compute. Tap or circle anything on the screen to search or ask questions. Turn rough sketches into polished images. And with natural conversations, richer answers, and its own dedicated app, Siri AI is powerful, private, and tailored to you.

Just ask Siri AI. Powered by Apple Intelligence, Siri AI is your conversational AI assistant with entirely new capabilities on iPad. Ask open-ended questions, brainstorm ideas for work or creative projects, and engage in natural, back-and-forth conversations.

Visual Intelligence with Siri on iPad. Ask Siri AI about virtually anything on your display with a screenshot. Just tap the item with your finger or circle it with Apple Pencil to find out more.

Image Wand. Transform rough sketches into images in virtually any style right in Notes.

Next-level intelligent photo editing. Reframe a photo after it’s been taken with Spatial Reframing. Expand your shots with the Extend tool. And remove even larger objects with the enhanced Clean Up tool.

Introducing the Siri app. A dedicated app brings together all your conversations across your Apple products, so you can ask a question on your iPhone and pick up where you left off on your iPad. You can also pin conversations for easy access or start a new one.

Gets more done. And then some.

iPadOS brings game-changing enhancements that push productivity further. An intuitive windowing system allows you to work in two or more apps at once with complete flexibility. Connect iPad mini to an external display and expand your workspace even further. And with over a million apps designed just for iPad, you can transform iPad mini into whatever you’d like it to be — a sketch pad, a planner, a full‑blown creative studio in your hands.

Smooth and easy multitasking. Resize and arrange your windows as you like and keep multiple windows open at the same time. A flexible windowing system makes it easy to work across all your apps and switch between them.

Child safety features. New and expanded child safety features can help parents and guardians keep kids safe on iPad. In Setup Assistant, parents can choose exactly which system apps their kids can use.

Apple Pencil does more than draw. Write in any text field and Scribble converts it to typed text. Take and mark up screenshots, sign forms, annotate documents — all with the same tool.

Take your imagination for a spin.

With iPad mini, you’re more than ready whenever inspiration strikes. The powerful A20 Pro and stunning OLED display help bring creativity to life — whether you’re using Apple Pencil to design a masterpiece or the advanced cameras to capture content. You can create, narrate, edit, and more with incredible mics and an innovative new Acoustic Display audio system that delivers an amazing listening experience.

Make your point with Apple Pencil. Create a masterpiece with the gold-standard tool for creativity, whether you’re writing, sketching, or drawing with expressive strokes. Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB‑C) turn iPad mini into the ultimate portable canvas.

Advanced camera system. Fun in focus. Connect over FaceTime or create content with the landscape 12MP Center Stage front camera. Take photos and shoot 4K video with the 12MP Wide back camera. And scan documents shadow-free with the Adaptive True Tone flash.

Redesigned audio system. Dual mics. With Acoustic Display, custom tweeters and woofers are now hidden beneath the glass and enclosure, delivering a rich, personal audio experience. And dual front and back mics capture clear, natural audio. Hear, here.

Goes there. Does that.
